Lovely location, great service and delicious coffee.
First visit was wonderful. Staff are friendly, welcoming, and open to making knowledgeable suggestions. The breakfast sandwiches are awesome, the eggs were surprisingly delicious. Coffee is fresh and balanced. Grabbed a bag of beans for home, will surely be back again to share stories with the locals who sit street-side. Lovely place to stop for a friendly cup of coffee amongst new friends.
I grew up (and got down) in this neighbourhood. Went to both Elementary and High School here, and I.LOVE.CONTINENTAL.COFFEE. The walls are creamy and relaxing, the airflow is not pretentious but comfortable, and the storefront windows are always clean. Overall, just enough visual cowbell to be able to focus on why I’m there: for the coffee. Their coffee bean roasts are made for my taste buddies. If we’re talking about the science of roasting, they mastered it. And I’d go as far to say that they’ve narrowed down the margin of error in, and for, the coffee roasting industry. I can vouch for this because throughout the years, the quality of their brews have remained consistent. If I want some punishment, I go to JJ. If I want to really hurt myself OpusDei style, I go to Starbucks. And when I’m really loving myself, I only go to Continental Coffee. Fuggetabout the unfair staff reviews Have you seen yourself in the mirror when you’re literally physically hurting for caffeine? I'm in Vancouver to ride the North Shore and always go on a mission to find a great coffee shop. Found one! I really like this place. The guy that has been in here the past couple days(owner?) is great, remembering me the next day, which goes a long way with me. Oh and the coffee/food is great! There is a Starbucks accross the street. I happily go here instead.

Best owners and best staff and best coffee of any place in Vancouver. No frills, no gimmicks, just incredible coffee that speaks for itself. And staff that remember your drink and how you like it. I’ll never stray from this place. They’re #1 for coffee.
I noticed this place pop up on commercial, which is renowned for its coffee environment, and amazing vibes, wanted to try the local roast. Uniquely refreshing and not overpowering espresso used in lattes and cappuccino, etc.
